Mawwiage.
Mawwiage is what bwings us togethew today.
Mawwiage, that bwessed awwangement, that dweam within a dweam.
And wove, twue wove, wiww fowwow you fowevah and evah… So tweasuwe youw wove…
(One of the groomsmen started quoting this during photos…made me so happy, plus, it just reaffirmed how much I really like these guys!) One of my favorite movies of all time. Can you name it?
What a beautiful day with a wonderful couple (you may remember them from their engagement session) . Such a privilege to be invited to be part of their day. There were so many sweet and touching moments throughout a day filled with love, laughter and even a few tears (mine included).
Anyway, enough chatter, here is the first installment (a little getting ready and a few details) of some of my very favorite images from the big day….

So beautiful.

Love that the bridesmaids got to choose their own dresses (wait til you see how incredible that turned out!) and their own shoes…love how it tells so much about their personalities.
Ahhhhh…..weddings. There is a reason I don’t photograph very many of them. And a reason I am super picky about whose wedding I actually will photograph. But there is also a reason I keep coming back to them. I am a love junkie. Photographing a wedding is slightly terrifying and super intimidating, but weddings involve so much overwhelming love that you can’t help but get caught up in it! And these guys did not disappoint. It was a lovefest. Not only that but everything and everyone (and even the weather) were just gorgeous and I had the chance to shoot with my good friend, Michelle, for the first time (and that was awesome! Thanks!). Thanks so much to the lovely couple and all their friends and family for including us in all the festivities! More photos coming soon….

Love all the shoes, the ring, the bride, the groom. Can’t wait for more.
