So generally speaking, I recommend scheduling your maternity photos when you are about 34 weeks along for 2 reasons. 1) While your belly has definitely “popped”, you might be slightly more nimble (and comfortable) at 34 weeks than at 40. 2) You might find yourself slightly more adorable at 34 weeks than you do at 40. (I know that I was a gigantic whale who could hardly maneuver herself out of bed by the end and am basing my assumptions purely on my own experiences.) Let me just say that NEITHER of those reasons are remotely relevant to this mama and she is due in a mere 2 weeks. Not only is she agile and graceful, but there isn’t any way she could have been more adorable at 34 weeks than she is now.

Holy cuteness Batman! Bonus = not only is she absolutely gorgeous and photogenic, but she is so warm and friendly I could have sat around and chatted with her all day. That is one lucky kid in there and I cannot wait to see her with him….she is going to be such a terrific mom.

Love, love, love how perfectly round her belly is!

Now I know that she wants mostly black and white images, but here on the blog (where I get to pick my favorites) I am choosing mostly color images. Why you ask? Well, she has the most beautiful, glowing skin ever! (And those lashes aren’t too bad either!)

The necklace is fabulous, the part about it belonging to the dad-to-be’s grandmother makes it doubly amazing.

Dad showed up a little later (which is actually just the way I like it…a little time getting to know mama first…perfect.) I can tell he is going to be one of those cool dads (kind of like my awesome husband) that takes this little guy hiking and camping and snowboarding and maybe even kitesurfing AND coaches his soccer team too.

Something a little artsy. Plus, if you look for it, you can see her belly button. Think she’s about done!
Thanks for such a fun morning both of you….can’t wait to meet your little man! Sending all kinds of happy labor thoughts your way!

Beautiful photos!
I love these. I especially like the artsy one at the end. Can’t wait for the new born photos.
