With newborns you never know what you are going to get and you have just about zero control of the situation….and what I know is, the sooner you accept that reality, the better. This little guy was no different. He had his own ideas of how his day was going to go. He was such a champ though because, while he absolutely wasn’t sleepy in the least, he was perfectly happy to hang out on the beanbag while I messed with him and took a million photos. Not even one little peep out of him. Apparently he slept the entire day before just so he could hang out with me! And I’m not complaining….he has the most beautiful eyes, which would have been wasted on sleeping baby shots. I have about 8 million favorites, but I am trying hard to not show you every single one of them….so here are just a few…..
And while you all know just how much I love newborn images, I’ve got a soft spot in my heart for sibling with newborn images. Lucky for me, this little girl couldn’t possibly love her new little brother any more…not even a tiny smidgen more.
It was mind boggling to me every time I brought home a new baby how gigantic the baby before became, overnight. What you thought were tiny toes yesterday, look kind of gargantuan today.
Look who was happy to entertain me while her brother was otherwise occupied…she is sweet and funny and absolutely adorable! Hooray for lovely mornings spent with wonderful people….thanks to all of you for hanging out with me!
