This will be a fourth that we will always remember. A once in a lifetime kind of experience. I mean, how many times will we be able to go out in a boat to the ends of the earth and watch fireworks? (Besides, nothing puts freedom into perspective like being a stone’s throw away from Cuba.) Anyway, the munchkins were in high spirits (read: goofy) and I had a good time getting it all on “film”.

Ahhh, they actually like each other.

Love those grins!

What goofs…though clearly enjoying themselves.

Then they all started teasing me…fully aware of all the “hands making hearts” maternity and wedding photos that are out there…but I kinda like this one (and promised not to show the one with the pre-teen boy in order to preserve some of his coolness??)

And then the goofiness got out of hand and the queen of awesome faces gave me one of her best….am tempted to make that my screen saver…it is so her and completely cracks me up.

Here’s the thing about goofing around for the camera…they stop paying any attention to me because they are too busy trying to think of funny things they want captured on “film” and they actually start cracking themselves up…which leads to some of the most “real” smiles and laughs ever. Love this shot! He thinks he is pretty darn funny (and he is, but don’t tell him I said so…it would go straight to his head!)

Hey, I know that guy! So now you can see that my little, adorable beasts have him to thank for their gorgeous eyes!
(PS Yay me for remembering to take some pictures with him in them this year! Sometimes I get a little distracted documenting previously mentioned adorable beasts and forget to get proof that us, boring, old, adults actually went on vacation with them. If you scroll back a few days, you will actually see proof that I was there this year too.)
So there are about a gazillion more photos I could show you…from downtown (Sloppy Joe’s, a rooster, and a super cool tarot card reading) and the aquarium (the “no hand in tank” sign above the shark tank) and “the official family photo shoot” (though I’m saving those since some of them may make an appearance on some holiday cards this year), but I will restrain myself and leave you with this last shot….poetic ending of vacation.

Love these photos! What fabulous smiles! Glad you had such a fun time.
