So if you are faithful blog reader you will know that I’m am pretty passionate about having voracious readers at my house. Like seriously, it is almost a requirement. Well, I’m super lucky because I have a great friend who is equally passionate about it and has this awesome blog, Small Types, all about literacy…lately there have been a bunch of posts with all kinds of great ideas for things to do with your kiddos during summer vacation. I have started a list and know that, for sure, we are going to do an A-Z alphabet book from our trip (we’ve started mapping out the possibilities for each letter already!) Anyway, one super cool way to encourage readers is by filling your house with all kinds of print (hence “print rich) and my sister just got an super cool rug that demonstrates this concept perfectly….and speaks directly to my soul (and stomach).

PS Am now completely addicted to Instagram thanks to my friend, Michelle, this blog post, and the fact that she gave me my own personal tutorial. LOVE that I can pick my focus point!
