Pop Quiz { Seattle Child Photographer }

Here is your Genetics 101 pop quiz for the day….

Here’s an old photo of my middle child.  She was 4.  (and so adorable it makes my heart all squeezy.)

 

And here is a photo from a session last weekend.  Related?  Ummmm, duh.  How closely related do you think they are?  (I’ll give you one hint:  he’s not my secret kid I keep hidden in the closet.)

 

Alright, so it wasn’t that hard of a quiz, especially if you are a faithful blog reader.  You will recognize these guys as they have appeared here many times before.  Their mama is my cousin (and one of you genetics experts will be able to tell us if that makes the kiddos second cousins or first cousins once removed…I can never remember).  Anyway, she is the one in our generation with the most awesome hair (sorry other cousins, I do like all of your hair too, but the rest of us just have regular hair, nothing special.)  There is always much anticipation when she has a baby about whether or not it will have the curls….just waiting to see what happens with the little guy’s hair.  We already know it is super cool, but will it be as curly?

 

Adorable big sister.  Curly, yes.  As curly as her brother, not quite.  She has the curls that most girls dream of and a killer smile too.  I’d be worried about all the boys running around during her teenage years if I didn’t already know that her dad can be terrifying when he puts his mind to it (though secretly he’s a big, giant softy….trust me, I’ve seen him at the birth of both of his sons).

 

 

Who doesn’t love a good twirly dress?  Hours of entertainment.

 

 

All three little curly-heads.  LOVE.  Do you know yet how much I love a good three year old squinchy face smile??

 

A LOT.  There are certain people though, who do it better than others.  I think each family gets one.  I definitely have one, my mom had one (and it wasn’t me), his mama was the one in her family, and he is the one in this family.
