Off They Go….

So we’ve reached the end of yet another summer vacation.  All children intact, along with my sanity.  Yes, there have been days when we’ve all longed for school to start up again, but for the most part we have enjoyed each others’ company and I know for a fact, that come Wednesday, I will in fact be missing seeing their smiling faces in the middle of the day.  But for today, I will enjoy a little quiet me time and get caught up on a lot of things that I have been putting off, and you can enjoy our last little pet project/themed shoot of the summer.  Thanks to all our girls for their modeling and photography skills and to my friend, Michelle, for coming up with the genius idea, scoring all the goodies at Goodwill, and for such a fun morning!  (Be sure to click the link on her name to see what her daughters photographed and how she processed her images…I’m guessing they will be totally different than mine…can’t wait to see them myself!

For your viewing pleasure….the first day back/what moms really do….

Bye bye little ones.
Are they gone?

(Just so you know, this only took about 50 tries to get the heel clicks with out making an awful face at the same time!  I’m sure that some of the teachers who were in the classrooms setting up thought we were lunatics…but it was fun!)

What shall we do with ourselves?

Cosmos and bon bons?  Why yes, I think we will.

A little mani/pedi time.

Maybe we’ll make the little rugrats an after school treat?

And just because she’s so stinkin’ adorable….
