You know you are a true musician when you start naming your instruments. Meet Grazio.

Sunday, after the big egg hunt, our girls accepted a lovely invitation from their grandparents to sleepover (which they LOVE). This meant that Henry got to pretend he was an only child for the evening….pretty sure he is sold on the wonderfulness of being an only. After dinner, I was nagging him to take his saxophone upstairs….(see, being an only doesn’t mean you don’t have to do chores) and he pointed out that we have no photos of him and Grazio. WHAT?! Well we remedied that right away and I’m kind of glad I didn’t stop and overthink it and try to make a plan about perfect light or location or attire. I love these, especially dramatic light!

Not only did my charming son ask to be photographed, but he actually edited several of these.

And because of the time of day and the location of him and the sun, we tried a couple of arty shots….this one is called “firemouth”….

and an attempt at a silhouette…though I want to try this again somewhere without the window frame….

And my absolute favorite saved for the end…..

Can’t wait til I get to shoot an album cover for him!

Wow! Who knew Grazio was so photogenic. The lad is quite photogenic also and imagine asking to have his photo taken. These are great – I love the lighting! An album cover will be great.
Love all your pics!! So talented.
