Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting this tiny, new, young man and his charming parents. Couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend the afternoon. The glorious sun was streaming through their giant windows, facing out on the most beautiful and tranquil backyard and they were so welcoming and relaxed. I think little man knew exactly how blissful this afternoon was because he really didn’t want to miss out on any of it…and I don’t blame him one bit! And even though he didn’t sleep a ton, he was the calmest awake little guy and showed me his gorgeous blue eyes, his big smiles and all the rest of his fantastic and hilarious expressions. Not to mention, his parents are just slightly smitten with him (and each other, for that matter). Here are just a few of my favorites…

Such a sleepy little bundle. He absolutely loves having his hands right up by his face. And since my goal at each session is to capture their little personalities…hands by his face it is. I’m also thinking he isn’t going to be a huge fan of “tummy time” as each time I started to roll him that way he managed to wiggle, scooch, or stretch his way out of it.

Look at those lips! And the little peeling skin! And his tiny chin! And light, light eyebrows! Oh, such brand new goodness!

See? I wasn’t kidding about the smiles…here his mama is the lucky recipient. I don’t think he is going to have any trouble getting his way when he flashes that smile around.

The adorable, new little family confirming my suspicions that they are completely, head over heels with their little man.
(Side note: their home is amazing and I could have photographed in there all day!)

I absolutely adore this one. LOVE.
And this last one? The blanket was knit for mama by her dad and the bear was hers as well. This one will serve as a fantastic reminder of just how tiny he started out.

Brace yourselves as I will actually be posting to the blog again….at least for the next week or so…so come on back!

Isn’t he adorable. I love the close up of his face and how did you ever get him to smile?!
