The Sweetest Not-So-New Newborn { Seattle Newborn Photographer }

Just last week I got to spend the afternoon doing one of the things I love best…snuggling a sweet, soft, little newborn.  This little guy, while still very tiny, was not as brand new as I hope for in a newborn shoot so I knew it might take a little extra snuggling to get him ready for his supermodel debut..(it’s not a secret that I love that part of my job the very most).  He was already 6 weeks old.  If you can believe it we had already had to reschedule twice due to illness (poor momma – nothing like being sick right after having a baby) and then they moved into a fabulous new home!  Amusingly, I was trying to explain the concept of an “old newborn” to my darling son that afternoon and he almost laughed himself sick envisioning a little old man newborn.  Anyway, this little guy was a trooper and absolutely adorable too.   Here are a few of my favorites…..

We got lots of amazing eye contact!  No crossed eyes for this guy…he was looking right at me…love it!

We even got a few, super sweet sleepy shots too.  The tummy shots were a little tricky because little man is so strong that he was holding is head up and pushing as hard as he could with his legs.  I’m always surprised at how strong newborns really are.

We only had a few minutes with dad before he had to go but I think we did alright….I absolutely love this family shot!  This momma does not look like she could have possibly had a baby six weeks ago….she was glowing.

One of my new favorite newborn shots.  He was really much happier with a little something covering him….and I just love how that worked out.  Hooray for little baby toes!  And if you need a little more baby goodness, I’m going to post these plus one more over on .

Happy Monday!

So SO SO SO cute!! I love these! He looks so much like his daddy…but my favorite one is the sleeping one. Great job Judith, and mama and daddy look gorgeous as always.
