Things don’t always work out the way you think they will. In my dream world I get to go to Missoula every summer, run a race, see some of my favorite people, and take a few photos. Well, last year I was at a photography seminar on race weekend and this year I was all set to go (at least in my mind) but there was a super important family wedding on race weekend. Hmm. What’s a girl to do? Just go a different weekend. Well that did mean that I didn’t get to see all my favorite people (what with my last minute planning etc) but I did get to see some of them and at one of my very favorite locations ever! Given that this is the first time we’ve ever done sessions in Missoula when it wasn’t 104, I may have gotten carried away and taken a few (or several hundred) too many photos. Guess I might have been having a little too much fun! Here is just a little sample of my favorites, in no particular order….
This mama is a terrific photographer herself so I make every effort to be sure to get lots of shots with her in them….aren’t they just the cutest?

Big sis. She is getting so big. I can’t believe the first time I met her she was tiny and now she is going into first grade.
