Have you all seen the Staples commercial where everyone in the office is Dave? The copy guy, the tech guy, the marketing guy, the receptionist guy, the mail room guy. Ahhh, the joys of having your own business! Well, here is where you all come in….
Traditionally the beginning of the year is when I take care of all kinds of business type housekeeping. I have been working on all kinds of stuff lately (policies, printed materials, product offerings, pricing, marketing, you name it…) and have come to the part where I could really use your help! I would like to donate to more auctions this year and would love suggestions from all of you as to your favorite causes/non-profits that hold auctions. Are there auctions you attend or that you procure items for? Is there a cause that is close to your heart? A school? An organization? I would love to hear all kinds of ideas and just to tempt you a little more…there are several $5 Starbucks cards sitting on my desk that I will be sending out to the first 5 of you that leave me helpful suggestions in the comments section. (Fine print: your cause needs to hold an auction locally for it to count for a Starbucks card…and if you have details (date & contact person), all the better!)
