So you will all remember that we were patiently (really?) awaiting the arrival of a little person for quite some time and that I was super excited to be invited to photograph the big event. Well, turns out the little person was of the boy variety and the birth went smoothly and quickly. It was an amazing experience to be there for his first breath and to hear him cry, but mostly to be able to see his parents' faces when they got to meet him. I thought about sharing a few of those photos here but decided that since just looking at mom's face made me feel like I was having a contraction, so I thought I would spare you all the sympathy pains. I am, however, over the moon excited to have a few of his first official photos ready to go. Yesterday, on his day 5,I got to sneak over and snap a few shots and let me tell you that watching them upload onto my computer was, as my friend Michelle says, like Christmas! What a gorgeous group the whole family is….and fun too! (Are you tired of my babbling yet? Show you the pictures, you say??) Fine, enough said….here you go….but be prepared, there are quite a few!
I take full responsibility for the hat. His dad thought he looked a little like a martian, but I love it!
Are you yawning yet?
Little man and his sister….so far, the only one of them together….but I will persevere and I WILL win! My competitive side has been sparked and I will not let a 2 year old, no matter how adorable, beat me at my own game! Be prepared for all my tricks and bribery too!
See, I told you she's cute! And maybe, just maybe, she has her daddy wrapped around her finger??
Grandma B and the little man. They are so lucky that Grandma managed to squeak out of few more days to stay in town.
And finally, one happy momma! I'm hoping after sharing all these that there will still be a few surprises left for you when you see the whole gallery of shots, but I just couldn't help myself! So happy for you all and I'm already trying to figure out when I can get my next baby snuggles!!

OMG! What a beautiful family!!! So I need a personal email to know what the ‘boy’ name ended up being. Tell the family CONGRATS from Big Sky Country!!
Love these! The hat is so cute, and Colin & Tess, and the family, and mom & baby. Sigh.
Nice Photos Judith!
Oh my god, he was SO worth the wait! He’s an amazingly handsome rugged looking young man (I don’t want to offend by saying “beautiful,” though he’s that, too!).
Yeah, welcome Eamon!!!!!!!!!
What a beautiful family! And I love the “martian” hat — I might be inspired to knit one of those myself…
And as always, amazing photos!
