Session Interrupted { Seattle Child Photographer }

This last weekend marked my most exciting session ever.  Yes, the family is a lovely one that I have photographed before.  Yes, we were documenting the little man’s 100th day (just like we did his sister) and yes, that is a really big deal.  And yes, the weather, which was forecasted to be rainy and dismal was sunny and beautiful.  But all of that combined does not earn this session the “most exciting session” ever title.  We had a special visitor and I was so focused on photographing the little guy that I almost missed the whole thing.  Thank goodness everyone else was way more aware of their surroundings than I…this is why I should never go out with my camera alone.  I become completely oblivious to everything else.  Anyway, looky who stopped by for a visit….

Ack!  There endeth the outdoor portion of our session.  Ok, enough about our visitor and on to the cute kiddos….here are just a few of my favorites…

Adorable big sister!  Last time I saw her she was 100 days old.

Beautiful mama and her sweet boy.  We were sure to get lots of shots of mama and her cuties since she is the family photographer and doesn’t get into many photos herself.  I may know a little something about that phenomenon.  In fact, (I am so excited about this) she and I are going to do some one on one mentoring/camera lessons starting this weekend and you all know there is not much I love more than talking about photo stuff!

Big sister sure thinks the little guy is pretty fantastic…there was lots of kissing and hand holding going on between them through the whole session.

Love.

The traditional 100th day attire.  We have a shot of his sister that is almost identical.

Love her sweet giggle and her great dress!

Go Huskies!  He’s clearly a big fan.  His mama is a professor at the UW and actually, we are meeting in her office for our mentoring session this weekend….I’m wondering if I will have a total flashback and feel like I am going to office hours to get help on some difficult homework.

Bear is best roasted at 425 for an hour, although you may want to check that it’s not escaped from the zoo, in which case you will have to pay a huge fine and stay in jail for a long time.
