The first time I met this little guy he was brand spanking new (see here) and now he’s ONE. How old do I sound when I say “I can’t believe how fast time goes”? Well he came over last weekend to mark this big milestone with some photos and a cupcake. I am happy to announce that he is now the official title holder for “absolute biggest messy cupcake face ever” but you’ll have to get all the way through the whole post to see it..ha…how’s that for temptation?
He really was this happy the whole time he was here. So stinkin’ cute. Check out his little hands and toes in the last photo….soft, plump baby parts…sigh.
That’s not to say he doesn’t have a mischievous, 1 year old side. Don’t you wish you knew exactly what kind of trouble he was making?
Then we gave him the good stuff. This is the “before” shot. His parents wisely opted for the clothing-free version.

I can hardly stand how adorable that expression is and his big blue eyes with that blue hat? LOVE. I’m guessing his parents are still finding frosting in places they didn’t know were possible. Happy belated birthday, little man!
