Lucky Baby { Kirkland Maternity Photographer }

 So this session is a continuation of the previous post’s belly.  I have decided that this is the way I really want to be able to do all maternity sessions, though I know it won’t always be possible, I can still dream.  While we got to spend the first part of the session focusing on the gorgeous glowing momma and her beautiful bump, we spent this time capturing their relationship and the whole “life before baby” story.  I love to be able to do both and let’s be honest, maternity photos are generally not super high on most dads-to-be’s list of priorities.  Being able to have a little, mini session that includes dad and then as much time as I want with just momma at on her own worked out perfectly.  Here are a few of my favorites….

How cute are they?

That  one just makes me all warm and fuzzy.  So peaceful and safe.  I think it might just be my very favorite image from this entire session.

I’m not kidding when I say this is one lucky baby.  Not only is their house full of love…(I think he kind of likes her, don’t you?)

but also tons of laughter.  I love that he makes her laugh so hard that it makes her cute belly button pop out!

And I think she might like him just a little bit too….

 Their first baby.  Isn’t he adorable.  His name is Gumbo.  Best dog name ever.  Just think, if they did that well with a dog name the whole baby name thing should be a walk in the park.  There are a bunch of shots with Gumbo and amusingly he looks very protective in just about every one of them.  (Will be adding a few of those over  just for fun).  He loves his people just as much as they love him.
