You saw the sweet little man in the last mini-post and if you look here you can see what an adorable bump he was and how much his parents adore each other. To celebrate his one week birthday they brought him over and spent the morning with me! Hooray! One of my absolute favorite ways to spend a morning.

As I mentioned before, this guy is going to be one of those cool dads that does all the fun stuff. But guess what…he is also a pro-diaper changer, swaddler, soother, and bottle giver.
Lucky everyone in this situation. Grandma is in town for a bit to help out (hooray!) and may be just as smitten with her grandson as his parents are.
LOVE. Can I just point out that this is third shot in a row where he is giving me the totally intense eye contact. No tiny newborn crossed eyes here (though to be fair, we did see it a few times while he was awake and it gave us all a good giggle).

I remember how much I loved all the tiny baby parts on my kiddos. Definitely something to hold close to your heart and cherish because it goes by way too fast and pretty soon they have giant feet that are twice the size of yours (sniff, sniff).
