One of my very favorites parts of my job is getting to see people every year. I love catching up with them and I especially love seeing their kiddos get bigger and older….so crazy the difference a year can make. Last year we met up at Golden Gardens (see that session here). This year, we ventured just a little way up the street to the Ballard Locks. It was an absolutely beautiful day and there were lots of boats going through the locks and lots of people there watching….so much fun. (Especially since I haven’t been to the locks in a REALLY long time…must take the kids over, quick, before summer vacation is over!) Anyway, here are a few of my favorites….
We just sort of wandered around, checking out all the cool spots, climbed a tree…..
…climbed on stuff while we crossed the bridge….
…checked out the salmon in the underground viewing area….
…and just generally goofed around and had a good time….
