Days 23, 24, & 25: In Your Closet, Gratitude, & Artwork { Photo Challenge }

Day 23:  In Your Closet

Weird topic.

Wanna know what’s even weirder?  What’s actually in my closet….

My awesome treadmill.  Possibly most used Mother’s day gift EVER.  It is nearing the 2000 mile mark..wowza.

Day 24:  Gratitude

In an effort to improve my “attitude of gratitude” am trying helpful cognitive reframing technique…

Option #1:  1 load already done.  Yay me!

Option #2:  Not out at the river with a rock washing clothes….am fortunate enough to have personal, indoor, electric washing and drying machines!  Hurrah!

Option #3:  Am so lucky to have so many wonderful people in my family.  (there is currently snowboarding, hiking, kiteboard building, sleepover, and basketball attire to be cleaned….a sign of a good weekend for sure!)

Day 25:  Artwork

My own, under construction, piece of artwork:

Am more than a little, dorkily, proud of my new found dremel skills!  Thanks to my sweet husband for donating this gorgeous piece of mahogany from his stash AND for sharing his dremel and teaching me how to use it.  Next challenge: mark all the children’s growth spurts on it…

Wow! 2000 miles of running. What an accomplishment. And that is just the running on the treadmill. Love the cognitive reframing and I don’t even know what a dremel is but apparently it makes marks on wood or something.
