Birthday Buddies

Today is the day that you would usually see some fabulous photos of my middle child as it is her birthday (Never fear, you will see some.  We have a plan…it just won’t happen for a while).   (happy birthday kiddo!)  Not this year.  This year her very favorite birthday buddy is taking over the blog.   To celebrate his special day I wanted to take some photos of him and his boy.  (I have taken them of my sister and her boy many times but have been remiss in capturing these two goofy boys together.)   Anyway, I dragged along my whole gang and we met them at one of our favorite parks with the added incentive of celebratory birthday ice cream to follow.  It was a gorgeous day and we all had the best time.  Here are just a few of my favorites…there were so many it was super difficult to pick which ones to share.

I absolutely adore that whole series and I absolutely adore those two guys.

After I took that shot I actually put my camera away.   I knew I would love it that much.  But then they started some of this….

and I had to get it back out again.

I love these photos so much.  I can’t stop looking at them.  Nothing better than being able to capture exactly what I think their relationship looks like (at least in my head).
