Yesterday I had the chance to see one of “my babies”…I get sort of possessive about them once I’ve taken their newborn photos (not to mention in-utero photos). She is almost 4 months old now…such a big girl! It also happened to be her momma’s birthday and she mentioned how different her birthday is this year, after becoming a mother herself. A lot more reflection on her own mother’s hard work and effort getting her to this point in your life….no small feat. So next year on your birthday people…call your own mother and say thanks. Anyway, just a little peek at where all this momma’s hard work is going….

First of all, isn’t that a fabulous sweater? (Being something of a novice knitter, I am especially wowed…hand knit by auntie, nice job!) Second of all, do you all remember the first time you put jeans on your baby? I do. Big kid jeans on a baby make me giggle. I love them. And as her dad pointed out…pockets? for a baby? really?
Look at that grin! This is one smiley baby. I love this age with all the smiles…though a little tricky as the camera is not worth a smile, people’s faces = much more interesting, so lots of shooting from the hip, so to speak.
Mom must be doing something pretty funny behind me…love that laugh!
