Absence

Does it make the heart grow fonder?  Well, did you miss me last week? 

That was a little mini break to get summer vacation started right.  We got a little sidetracked from our "Summer of Fun" plans…see darling son's left foot for an explanation….but we did manage to squeeze in yummy, high fat dinner with friends, learning to ride a bike without training wheels, a birthday party, our neighborhood ice cream social, a few good books and a family photo session with some gorgeous people (to be posted soon!).  Not too shabby of a start to what promises to be the best "Summer of Fun" yet!  Will keep you apprised of all our fabulous plans, plus I promise more posts including fun families, wiggly toddlers, and squishy babies!  Here's a little snap of my kiddos on their way to a super cool, black & white themed birthday party….

Sidenote:  from a photography perspective, black & white themed party = genius idea.  Makes for awesome photos…not necessarily this one, but you know what I mean!

PS  When did he get so much taller than his sisters?
