Just a few important numbers this morning:
7 = the number of days old she was when I got to meet her
8 = the number of pounds she was at birth (though her sweet skinny little legs might beg to differ)
20 = the number of consecutive years that her parents will have a teenage daughter in their house (oh my!)
I know that last statistics is slightly daunting (at least to me) but let me tell you, if anyone is up for the challenge, it is these guys. They are so relaxed and easy-going and they just take it all in stride, plus from what I can tell, they’ve done an amazing job with their big girls, so this little, tiny one should be a piece of cake, right? Anyway, here she is, in all her adorableness….

She started out wide awake, yet totally calm and into watching everything around her. Look at her gorgeous, dark, newborn eyes…just checking me out. And, she’s totally figured out how to get her hand in her mouth! Smart girl!
I got lots of delicious snuggles and a lovely chance to chat with her parents for a little while and then she gave up on being part of our party and sacked out.

Isn’t she just perfect?

And so bendy! Though even while she was sleeping she was letting me know what she liked and oh boy does she have some strong legs.

The tail end of a baby grin! Look closely….there’s a dimple in there!!
Happy Wednesday everyone!
